I wanted to thank you all for a wonderfully, successful Chocolate Fantasy in Monticello on February 10^th.  It was a really nice evening, and I hope you all had as good of a time as we did at Pearls & More Jewelry. 

A HUGE thank you goes to Doris Liestman, Gail Winterroth and Mike Lane who were tremendous help during the night.  Because of these three special people, we were able to take care of over 230 people in my small shop in a 3-hour time frame.  That really takes a lot of planning and work, on the part of these three, in order to accomplish that. 

And another big THANK YOU goes to Missy and her staff at Sweet Indulgence (on Windsor Rd. – same strip mall as Sun Singer – in Champaign) for making the most wonderful chocolate treats for us again this year!  They came up with two kinds of cake truffles from which our guests could choose one.  A wonderful red velvet cake coated with white chocolate or a chocolate fudge cake dipped in chocolate – and both were decorated with a heart and a pearl!  In addition, we had a red velvet cake with a white butter cream icing and a chocolate fudge cake with a chocolate icing on display.  Well, I have to tell you that the four of us that worked the event for Pearls & More Jewelry split the cakes, and we were all in 100% agreement that they were absolutely the best cakes that we had ever eaten!!!  WOW!!  Were they good!  If you ever need cakes, cookies or any type of bakery items, then head to Sweet Indulgence in Champaign.  You will be VERY pleased!

And the BIGGEST thank you goes to all who purchased tickets and braved the cold, windy night to participate in the event.  I hope you all had a great time and will be back to visit all of the businesses that participated and will attend future events held in Monticello.  We really know how to do things right here in Monticello!  If you haven’t attended any of our events, then you are really missing out on some fun times.  Make plans to attend all of our events in the future.
